When Amee was in high school, she was considering dropping out. She didn’t enjoy school, and all she could think about was wanting to leave. However, thanks to the support and encouragement of Ganbina and her mum, Amee now works as a settlement clerk for Shepparton Conveyancing Services. She is the first person in her family to complete tertiary education, completing an Associate Degree in Law (paralegal studies) and Certificates II and III in business administration. Amee feels Ganbina inspires Indigenous youth to better themselves and provides a system to guide them along the way. “I feel Ganbina help with pretty much everything; they are always there. I am doing things that I would never have imagined today,” Amee says.
